By the Book added child check in to Roll Call in 2005 at the request of a few customers.  These churches needed a way to make sure that students were only released to an authorized person.  We worked together to develop a method of automatically checking in Sunday school students into their respective classes and printing out name tags and security tags for the parents.

When the student arrives at church, you can pull up their information based on a bar code scan, fingerprint scan of find them by name or identifying number.  

Once you've selected the student and checked him into the class, labels are printed. When it is time to check out, the teacher or leader compares the number on the name tag label with the parent tag to release the child.  If you'd like to record check out times, you can do that as well.
