Visitor Follow Up
Visitor follow-up is such an import aspect of moving a person from visitor to regular attender to an involved member of your ministry. And every church handles visitors differently. Roll Call is flexible enough to handle any visitor follow-up scenario. Roll Call gives you the tools to track their progress every step of the way.
If you are using Roll Call's child check in feature, you can capture visitor information as they check their students into Sunday school. You can enter a full address, phone numbers and email address if you'd like. At a minimum, you'll at least have the children's names and that they are a visitor. If you enter the visitors through this quick enroll, attendance is already recorded for them.
If you church has visitor cards that you have folks fill out, you'll want to capture that information through the people screen. You'll also want to track attendance for these folks.
Once you've recorded the attendance for your visitors, you can run the visitor report. The report lists the visitors that met your criteria (1st, 2nd, 3rd time visiting) and allows you to send them an email, print mailing labels for them or write a letter to them. You can also change their association, for example, if you had run a list of 3rd time visitors, you could change their status to "regular attender".
If your church has a series of classes that you have folks attend, these can be tracked through the groups and classes area of Roll Call. Simply create a class, enter the dates for the class, and enroll the students into the class. From a person's record you'll be able to easily see their progress through the discipleship process.
