Follow-up
An important part of building that sense of community within your church is follow up. Follow up with folks who regularly attend but haven't in the last several weeks. Follow up with visitors. Or recognizing folks that have been part of an event or activity. Roll Call church software can easily identify these folks and will allow you to find their phone number, send them an email or write them a letter. You can even get directions to their home, if you are making a home visit.
In our first example let's say we need to find everyone who regularly attends Bible study, but has been absent 2 or more times in the last 6 weeks. We can run the absent/present report for that criteria. The report will list for us all the members of Bible study who have been absent 2 or more times. We can then decide how we want to follow up with them. If you decide to send them an email, just click "send email". If you want to give them a call, the phone number is listed on the report.
When it comes to visitor follow up, Roll Call makes that so easy. The visitor report allows you enter your visitor criteria, then run the report. Let's say you want to find your first time visitors, simply enter "1" time, then click generate. You will be presented with a list of anyone who visited for the first time, on the date you entered.
From this screen you can decide to send an email, write a letter or print mailing labels. You can even change their association if you'd like.
