Track your church's volunteers using Roll Call's church management software. You simply create the group, then enter the people that have volunteered. You can create one large group for all your volunteers or break them down into more specific volunteer groups. For example, you might want to have all the children's church volunteers in one group and all the meals ministry volunteers in another group.
You can set up custom information for each group. Let's say for your meals ministry volunteers you need to know what days they are available and their specialty dish. You can create those fields to track that type of information. Then you can run all kinds of queries, for example, show me everyone who can deliver meals on Mondays.
Using Roll Call's group tracking system, it is very easy to communicate with your groups. Let's say you want to invite all your volunteers to a "thank you" dinner. You simply highlight all those volunteer groups and click on the Write Letter action. Then you can compose your letter and click print. It's that easy!
Let's say the meals ministry leader needs to email everyone in the group and let them know about a need. That leader just needs to highlight his or her group, then click Email. He can compose the email and click send. One email per person in that volunteer list is sent.
